What route does the RoadRunner use?

The RoadRunner runs in a loop that includes Hillside Galleries and Shops, Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village, and Uptown Sedona. This route is known as the “Circulator”. It runs from 9:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. every day. The last pick up time at the Uptown stops will be 6:10 p.m., Tlaquepaque at 6:15 p.m., the Hillside galleries at 6:20 p.m., and finishing at the Municipal parking lot at 6:30 p.m.

In the mornings and evenings, the RoadRunner offers a commuter service, the RoadRunner Cottonwood Express. The Express travels between Cottonwood and Sedona via SR 89A. In the morning, the Express starts at Garrison Park off of Mingus Avenue and S. Paula Street and makes stops in Sedona. Eastbound stops are on SR 89A at Upper Red Rock Loop Road, Arroyo Pinon Drive, Northview Road, as well as the designated circulator stops, and Poco Diablo Resort. West Bound stops include, the Municipal Parking Lot, Forrest Road, Tlaquepaque, Poco Diablo Resort, Mountain Shadows Drive, Dry Creek Road, Cultural Park Place, and end at Garrison Park in Cottonwood.

How often does the Circulator run?

A shuttle will arrive at each stop approximately every 10 to 12 minutes, with service to the Municipal lot every 20 minutes.

How will I know when the next trolley is coming?

There will be 5 electronic “NextBus” signs along the circulator route that are scheduled for installation in late December 2006. They will be at Hillside, Tlaquepaque, and on SR 89A in Uptown at Forest Road (Pink Jeep Side), and Apple Avenue. There is also a mobile freestanding sign assigned to the Municipal parking lot.

What is the fare for the RoadRunner?

The “Circulator” route is FREE. The “RoadRunner Cottonwood Express” between Cottonwood and Sedona is obtainable through subscription pass only at a cost of $40.00 month.

How many days a week does it operate? What about holidays?

The “Circulator” operates 7 days a week, with the circulator starting at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 6:30 p.m. One shuttle services the route for the first and last hours of operation and two shuttles operate during the main part of the service. There is no service on Thanksgiving, Christmas day, and New Years day.

Where do I buy passes for the Roadrunner Cottonwood Express?

Subscription passes can be purchase from the NAIPTA office by calling (928) 282-0938.

Where can I park my car to conveniently catch the RoadRunner?

Parking is available at the Municipal Parking Lot off of Jordan Road and Schnebly Road in Uptown, and the parking lot behind Sinagua Plaza on SR 89A in Uptown. There is also limited parking throughout the corridor.

Do all the trolleys have wheelchair lifts?

Yes.

Who pays for this service?

The service is paid for in part by the City of Sedona, Federal Transit funding through the State of Arizona, and rider fares from the commuter portion.

Are shuttles available for charter?

Shuttles are NOT available for charter.

What type of fuel does the trolley use?

The shuttles run on a fuel blend that is more environmental friendly called Bio-Diesel. The specific blend is B-20, which is 20% soy oil and 80% ultra-low sulfur diesel mixture.
