Background

In June 2004, the Sedona City Council adopted a Sedona Transit Plan and committed to launching Phase One operations. Through an Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Sedona and the Northern Arizona Intergovernmental Public Transit Authority (NAIPTA), Coconino County has been leading the planning and implementation since the fall of 2003. The project launched in the fall of 2006.
